so today was okay a lady came and bought three of my birds so that was good and now im left with three birds. exept the canary lay two eggs a couple of days ago so I had to put them into my incubator and I'm starting to wander what will happen when they hatch.

even though its sad to see them go I'm happy because now we have a lot more room in the room that we were keeping them in and my quails can finally start laying eggs next year.

So yeserday there was a fire in karori almost on our street so i decided to take some pictures. Im pretty sure everyone got out safe and the house does'nt look too badly damaged, you can see the burning when you walk past on the roof. well caza told me to make a new entry s i like did....

anyways so my quail are showign adult colours now so i guess that means soon the hen will start laying eggs so that will be fun, i think i will try and bring in some eggs(if the hen lays them) to school at one point and maybe even the quail themselves but i dont want to scare them too much and they already freakout when i put my hand inside the cage so i doubt that will happen, but i will most certainly bring in photo's

im thinking about saving up for an incubator by the end of this year about september-october cuz that when the quails and canaries will start laying eggs and it would be awesome if i could get a few babies out of that. plus after the chicks are at a certain age i can sell them on trade-me and get my money back pretty quickly

see cuz if the incubator costs $380 all i have to do is put aside $55dollars a month and thats it-plus my grandma gave me some american dollars that will help. then if i sell the quails at $10 male $12 female then all i will need are aboout 38quails all together to repay the cost of the incubator and if i get atleast ten canaries i could try sell them at a good $35 per

so in the end all i will need for that is $555 dollars
